STATEWIDE ORGANIZATIONS URGE MISSOURIANS
TO DO THEIR PART IN COVID-19 CRISIS

“As organizations representing businesses, first responders, governments, health care providers and individuals from throughout the state, we collectively urge all Missourians to respond to the call to help slow the COVID-19 chain of transmission. At this time, there are no approved treatments or vaccines. That means we must do everything we can individually and collectively — from practicing prevention like hand washing, staying home when sick, and covering coughs and sneezes, to community-based interventions, such as ‘social distancing’ and testing — to reduce transmission. Since testing is still very limited, social distancing when in public and staying at home as much as possible are important tools in our efforts to limit COVID-19 spread. Every Missourian has a role to play during this emergency. We urge all Missourians to do their part.”
